It's my first post for this blog and I think in my mind I wanted to start with something fantastic. But if I wait until I have time for everything to be perfect, I won't ever be writing. So, let's just jump right in.
Last night I was struggling with Noah, trying to keep his Hot Wheels car out of his mouth. It can't possibly taste good, but who knows what's in the mind of a two year old? I finally said to him "If you don't stop putting that car in your mouth I will take it away." He then slowly put it up to his lips and stuck out the very tip of his tiny little tongue to touch one wheel.
Marc cracked up, saying, "He's testing you!"
Yes dear, welcome to my world.
On a side note I did get some positive affirmation yesterday for a mommy-job well done. Noah spilled a whole bowl of Fruit Loops, thankfully dry, all over the chair. As I picked up that last piece he cheered and clapped for me. I know you all wish you were appreciated like that at your job.
